David versus Goliath? Hares chasing a tortoise?

In reality this is a race between Mike Bonsor, aging cyclist who has to ride 205 miles IN A DAY from Minster on the Isle of Sheppey to Burnham on Sea in Somerset, a team of riders in Cycleshack, Lewes and a team of riders in Proper Cycling & Coffee , Hassocks riding on static bikes.

Mike (the tortoise) will start at 04:41in the morning on June 22nd and have to finish by 21:33 on the same day. The hares will start at 09:00 outside Cycleshack and inside Proper Cycling & Coffee. That will give Mike a head start, but he will need it as the Cycleshack and Proper teams will be able to go much faster!

You can help by either taking part in the sweepstake to select a mile that Mike will be caught. Tickets will be available in Cycleshack and Proper at £2 a ticket.
