Well, today is the day that we leave the Highlands as after this, Day 13 is all along the Coast to John O'Groats.
Overall, that means that I have a fair degree of downhill today, yay. On the downside, looks like parts of the A9 coming into Inverness are dual carriageway with no real contingency for cyclists, so we have a detour that adds on 5 miles. It's only 5 miles I say now. The detour though does take us through Culloden, think there was a bit of a shindig there years ago, but we all love each other now.
Earlier in the ride, we go past the Findhorn Viaducts. Near Tomatin, or at Tomatin.
Haven't tracked down a distillery yet today, but I am sure with a bit of effort I can find one.
