Sun, Rain, Wind, Cold, Showers, Warm....

Crowded House managed Four Seasons in One Day, I think today I did at least six.

Most consistent was the westerly wind blowing at something between 15 and 20 miles per hour, so the first part of the ride involved quite a bit of hard work going West! These things even out though, or they should, so the last few miles along the B2116 from Ditchling were more fun. Except by then it was raining.... Still, won't be able to pick and choose in June, so just quit the moaning and crack on with it.

I did wonder if today I could feel some benefits of recent training, as going down some roads I hadn't been on for a while, it felt as if it was not an effort to stay in higher gears. More than likely, the wind shifted and gave me a helping hand.

Anyway, 53 miles done so up to 142 for this week so far. Out again tomorrow, probably similar distance. Ciao babes....
