Sunday ride with the club

Went for a ride with Sussex Bike Club today. As it was down as 30 miles, did a few extra at the beginning and just as well as found that our planned route through the backroads of Hamsey to Offham would have resulted in a frustrating turn around due to the level crossing being worked upon. Hopefully smoothing it out a bit!

As so often happens on our rides, we had a slight deviation from the planned route accidentally in addition to the one mentioned above, but we got to Sheffield Park and consumed cake. Mission accomplished.

Nice to see Simon again. I was only thinking the other day that I hadn't seen him for ages and there he was.

Otherwise, uneventful ride, just nice gentle wheeling. No song in the head today as was chatting. But tomorrow, who knows...
