A gentle Monday meander

Having recovered from the disappointment of UK not winning Eurovision (hadn't yesterday obviously), went out for a gentle pootle today.

Bike fine after me chucking it on the floor yesterday, weather ok, not much wind at all and bits of sun, so short sleeves again. Headed out on one of my regular routes and had to detour before leaving the Nevill as there was a lorry disgorging it's load on the road I wanted to go down. After that minor setback, all went smoothly and headede out the long way to Bug Hill, then up Pickwell towards Wraninglid and back to Bolney, Twineham, Wineham before popping on for some excellent Carrot cake at Proper. Oh, and a pot of tea. But it was the Carrot cake that was the important bit.

Quick tweaks to the bike after the floor chucking and stuff and rode smoother afterwards. Steady 54 today, have to do same again whenever possible this week and next as it's getting really quite close. 33 days now.

Glad to hear that Ross and Glenn are planning their joining stuff, but we need to sort the actual day(s) it will happen for.

The Nevill Juvenile BS Extravaganza come back with details on the space we have for our stall, so we can get that planned out now.

Things happening....
