More good riding, along with some Proper people

Well, still finding good speed following the bike fit, lots of PBs today when I put the effort in, and by the time I got to Proper to join them for their ride had done about 39 at 16.5, which for me is fast. Ended up doing just over the 50, had nice cake and tea and a pleaseure to meet a couple of new riders. We seemed to have been lucky and missed the rain falling, although a couple of bits of road it clearly had rained quite a lot.

Before I had got to Proper though, I was riding round the outside of Barcombe and coming up behind another cyclist and suddenly realised he had Proper gear on. Stopped and had a chat with Charlie, we don't think we had met before but were sort of heading a similar way for a while.

4 weeks today, on the way down to Penzance.

Early ride tomorrow with Mr Bennet.

Still no carrot cake, but the fruit cake was good.

Missed a lot of the cricket!
