9 days. Nineteen days. NINETEEN DAYS. One a niner days. 20 minus 1 days. Can't avoid it, 19 days to the start.

Really odd winds today, very nearly bdidn't go out on the bike as things were being blown over in the garden, but once I got down from the top of the downs, it wasn't at all bad. Ended up thinking I should have allowed myself more time to do a few more miles as tomorrow looks pretty pants. Also, in theory I am not meant to ride tomnorrow, but I need 30 miles for 1,000 miles in May, so think I will have to go and do that. I will be good with the future rest days, I promise.

So, today was just looping out around Barcombe a bit, nothing special at all.

Cake orders getting sorted, many bthanks to Nick for the magnificent pile of cakes he has offered to bake. Whether any of them make it to the cake stall is another matter! Cake stall, what cake stall I hear some of the reading masses asking? June 11th, Nevill Green, 12-4:30, cake stall to raise money for CRY to go into the LEJOG pot. I am doing the MCing so can plug my cakes a lot, if I haven't eaten them all. Clare has kindly offered to help as well so we are loking good. Just need fine wqeather and lots of people who want cake. Well, let's face it, everybody wants cake. It's all about the cake, 'bout the cake, 'bout the cake....

Was on Uckfield this morning and took the listener through every day of the route, describing distance, climbs, where I hope to get cake and actually had someone phone up to wish me good luck.

Donations continue to come into the Just Giving site, really has picked up recently.

All in all, it is starting to feel as if it isn't far off. Maybe, about 19 days. NINETEEN DAYS!!!!
