Well, was a bit tired yesterday evening when we finally got home so here is a delayed blog from yesterday.
It was the Extravaganza on Nevill Green, Lewes for NJBS in celebration of ER 90th birthday and we had a cake stall. Good day for it, despite the occaisional shower and we took £141 so far, which is a brilliant result.
Have to do a roll of honour for helpers and supporters, so many many thanks to Jenni, Ruth and Jamie, Claire and Steve not forgetting those well behaved sleepy dogs, Nick and Geoff, Ian and Anne, and all the people who dropped by to buy cakes from us that we know. Brilliant, all of you.
Also, more donations coming into the Just Giving site, many thanks for all of those, Kevin and other Akers, Taylor clan, Souths, Myrtle and others. We are now about to go over the £4,000 for this event alone when I add the cake money, which is fantastic.
EVEN MORE AMAZING, TOTALLING UP ALL THE DONATIONS MADE TO ANNIE'S FUND, I NOW HAVE US AT £8432.23P. THAT IS £67.77P OFF HAVING ENOUGH FOR THE FIRST SCREENING DAY.
When you add in the Gift Aid, that total stands at £9,714.33. Not sure when that comes through, but this is a marvellous number to type. I will need to check this through with CRY to see that they have the same records, but it is looking really good.

On the bike, no real riding yesterday and today is tipping down at the moment. May be able to get out later for a quick ride, but don't want to risk an incident on slippery roads before setting off...next Sunday. Yep, this time in a week I will have been riding with Stewart away from Land's End for about an hour. All downhill in Cornwall I am told.
Hopefully the weather does improve as we are looking to fit the bike rack this afternoon. Dryness would be appreciated.
