When will it get warmer?

Well, here we have a line of birdies, all on the edge of the ice looking into the water. Maybe it's a bit cold for them too.
Went for a ride with 'the club' today. not that cold, but really rather wet, and with quite a lot of mud on the roads. Still, nice to get out with them again. 40 odd miles today and also yesterday. legs telling me about it today though.
Whilst out on Friday night with Jenni, we were talking about what rides were lined up for the summer. There is a club ride around the Isle of Wight in May, maybe an overseas trip, and possibly the Tour de Yorkshire sometime in the summer. Maybe June or August for that. However, none of those are charity rides, none are asking for sponsorship as I don't think it is fair to go back to the same people again when they were so tremendously generous last year.
The collecting page is still open, and there are odd bits coming in now and then, but I have an idea or two for a couple of different things to try that would look at getting more money for a third screening day. We'll see how that goes.
Back to the bike riding, maybe it was the couple of Bedlam beers that I had (from just down the road in Albourne), but I said to get balance it would seem like an idea to do a JOGLE to balance out the LEJOG. In other words, start at the top, and head South to Land's End. 2018 for that then. I have plenty of time to recruit companions, not expecting the old support team to be up for another strange tour of the UK, so vacancies a plenty.
In the meantime, I am progressing writing up last years ride, up to day 4 now and at about 20,000 words. I am going to aim to release a day every day on this site when it gets around to the anniversary of the LEJOG. That will be exciting!
As I mentioned above, the Just Giving page is still open, feel free to share with people who haven't already donated...
