Unipedalling

Just a short one tonight. Ride and blog.

Back from work, nice evening, good time for the usual ride along the A27 to Falmer and back. Really quite mild, not much wind, in fact most pleasant.

Last couple of hundred yards were interesting though. Coming back through the estate and a pedal dropped off! That's three bike incidents now in recent times, so tat, by the rule of three, is it.

Have you tried riding a bike with one pedal? It's interesting. Big enough push with the good pedal leg, then push the stump around as fast as you can and hope it gets there so you can then pedal again with the good one! Not easy to keep the momentum going uphill. Glad it didn't happen any further away from home.

Just found out that this is the 100th blog post. Huzzah for me.
